Growing up and attending school in Taos was awesome! Taos High had the most school spirit I've yet to see anywhere! Of course, Cleveland High School, where I now work is really getting going on that. They are making a name for themselves quick for only being 3 years old! I made many good friends at Taos High. Being on the Taos High School Drill Team prepared me for so many of my recent opportunities like coaching a high school and middle school team for a combined total of 10 years. My "girls", all grown up now, were awesome and I miss them. I became an official Cheer Grandma (yes, that's a job, like mom's taxi) and ran my oldest grandchild to and from. Three years of Cheer! Then she went on to the Three time State Champion Bowling TeamI That was so fun! She has just graduated with 30 out of 26 credits including 2 (6 credit hours) from college - 40 years after my graduation from THS! Her little sister will be coming up to the high school this next year and will be in marching band so we are gearing up for that. My youngest grandson starts school this year - his sister will be in 2nd grade! I married my 'best friend' in 1974. We have two beautiful daughters and 4 awesome grandchildren.
